Function & Design
- Construction – traditional Y-back design for balanced support
- Hardware – three solid brass scissor-style snap hooks attach easily to belt loops – seven brass suspender buttons included so you can exercise your option to button the suspenders to your pants
- Front Straps – feature eight inches of adjustability for a comfortable fit
- Strap Width – 1 1/8” | leather keepers keep straps aligned
- Finished With – Col. Littleton solid brass Pommel Shield* at the back
Seven brass suspender buttons are included which attach to your pants like the top button on a pair of jeans. Or, you can have regular buttons sewn on your pants to hold your suspenders. Three leather-lined American Buffalo buttonhole tabs are included.
A set of three solid Brass scissor-type snap hooks is included which attach to your belt loops for easy wear with most pants. This gives you the choice of wearing your suspenders with buttons or snap hooks.

Received the suspenders/braces today. I am delighted with the quality and fit. Love having the buttons included. As with all of the products I’ve bought over the years, these will bring a little joy to my day when I wear them. I happened to see a stranger wearing a pair with the snap hooks and asked where he bought them. When he said Colonel Littleton I just said “of course”.
I bought these suspenders a year ago when I was looking for something that used brace tabs instead of the hooks on belt loops. These are my daily accoutrement and I get compliments on them regularly. I also love that the adjustment hooks resemble the leather rifle slings of my youth. The quality of the materials and workmanship is immediately evident. I recently sent them back to Colonel Littleton to have the elastic replaced, as it had worn out and lost elasticity. They get a lot of work and that’s just normal wear and tear. The leather button tabs were starting to show a bit of wear, too. I called to ask about recrafting services and cost but my money was no good there, and they told me to just send them in. The turnaround was fast, too. Yeah, these are fine leather goods and you pay fine leather good prices for them. But the service and quality received at Colonel Littleton far exceed the cost of acquisition. Truly one of the best places I’ve done business with in a long time.
I had a couple Italian suits made and I simply could not make myself use those cheap, elastic, cheap suspenders considering how much I had spent. As usual, the Colonel send a beautiful set of leather suspenders to round out the suits. I cant wait to show them off. Thanks again for exceeding my expectations!
