It also does not cover normal wear and tear. We feel if you just plain “wore it out,” you got your money’s worth. Also, we cannot be responsible for an item which has suffered through alteration, damage due to improper cleaning, improper use, mishandling or accident. If we made a mistake in personalizing your product or if the product is defective in materials or workmanship, of course we’ll replace it. Otherwise, personalized products are not returnable.
Leather is a passion for me. There are more kinds of leather and leather processing out there than you can shake a stick at. You can mold leather into just about any shape or form. You can make every hide look just alike. You can dye it green, blue or even pink. You can apply a finish, coat it, spray it or make it look slick and shiny. That’s not what we’re about at Col. Littleton. To me the beauty is in the naturalness of the leather. People always comment to me about the special “feel” of our leather and how it becomes even more beautiful after it has some wear on it. It’s all about our leather process. When you buy Col. Littleton leather goods, you’re buying, for the most part, full-grain American vegetable-tanned steerhide that has received a minimum of alteration. We don’t apply a finish to hide character markings. The way I see it, every marking tells a story and covering them robs the piece of its life and character.

I bought one of these recently. It arrived quickly and very well-packaged. I’m very happy with the design and the quality of workmanship. It fills a lighter niche use for me now that I no longer require my old 3-suiter Orvis Battenkill bag for business travel. It’s exactly what I need now.

I have purchased various products from your organization over the years. I have a hole in my satchel as I had a pistol in one of the front pockets since I owned it. The woman who answered the phone on customer service could not have been more gracious and explained that this model was no longer made and could not be repaired. However, she immediately sent a shipping label for my courier bag, which came back repaired, reconditioned, and perfect. I have a dopp kit and apron from your company, and I am constantly checking the catalog for new items to see what would fit. At my age, I have experienced a lot of excellent customer service, but your organization stands above. I wish you the greatest of success.

Again, I’m keeping the coaster so I owe a review! First, throw away the included hanger because it’s crap! Was it outsourced? It’s rickety, the leather badge was glued on, and off center, and the hook keeps sliding off the leather strap. But that’s not the bag’s fault; this garment bag is wonderful! Canvas is heavier than I expected and that’s a plus. Craftsmanship is top notch and the the ingenuity is what sends it above and beyond. Also it’s beautiful and understated and that’s exactly what i was looking for.
