In this premium version of a longtime customer favorite, Colonel has upgraded the Bentley Tote to our beautifully textured, rich, deep Tobacco Brown American Buffalo and trimmed it in Vintage Brown American Steerhide for a pleasing contrast. However, his most significant design change is the addition of a protective leather closure strap, appointed with a classic nickel-plated brass “tuck-style” closure which may be engraved with three initials.
Large enough for files and folders, tablet, laptop, books, magazines, phone, lunch – everything but the kitchen sink. Two interior black canvas side pockets run the full inside width of the purse – one accommodates business cards, pens, electronic devices and both are secured by leather tabs and ball-stud closures.
Colonel designed the Bentley Tote for multi-faceted usage. Although it’s great for plane trips and all-day shopping excursions, many fans of the Bentley Tote use it as a business bag. It’s roomy enough for laptops and especially convenient for realtors, designers and other professionals. You’ll enjoy carrying it anywhere. Our full-grain, dry-milled American Buffalo is vegetable tanned, then tumbled in wooden barrels to achieve a soft, lived-in look and feel. The American Steerhide contrasting trim gives it body so it stands alone without tipping over and also contributes to the overall aesthetic.
In addition to the nickel-plated brass “tuck-style” closure, the bag sports nickel-plated, decorative buckles on the side gussets. Inside leather loop for attaching your keys.

Leather is a passion for me. There are more kinds of leather and leather processing out there than you can shake a stick at. You can mold leather into just about any shape or form. You can make every hide look just alike. You can dye it green, blue or even pink. You can apply a finish, coat it, spray it or make it look slick and shiny. That’s not what we’re about at Col. Littleton leather goods, you’re buying, for the most part, full-grain American vegetable-tanned steerhide that has received a minimum of alteration. We don’t apply a finish to hide character markings. The way I see it, every marking tells a story and covering them robs the piece of its life and character.
